The Journal of Faith Integration in Counseling (JFIC) is an independent online peer-reviewed interdisciplinary academic journal that is devoted to the publication of original scholarly works. This journal is specifically focused on the study of faith integration in a range of counseling areas such as clinical mental health, marriage and family, addictions, career, rehabilitation, school counseling, and related disciplines. This journal seeks to promote research, practice, and theory on the multidimensional understanding of faith integration in counseling. We invite contributions from higher education faculty, researchers, and practitioners from various academic disciplines including but not limited to counseling, psychology, social work, and marriage and family therapy. These pages are open to a variety of forms: original scholarly activity such as research studies, literature reviews; theory, and applications of practice which may be of interest to our readers. Our intended audience includes interdisciplinary scholars as well as practitioners serving client needs to integrate faith in counseling.

The Journal of Faith Integration in Counseling is published semi-annually. Banner: The banner background of the Journal of Faith Integration in Counseling is a photo of the Caraiman cross in Romania. The cross is 40 m (130 ft) tall and was built between 1926 and 1928 to commemorate the Romanian heroes who died in the First World War. The cross is located at an altitude of 2,291 m (7,822 ft) in the Bucegi mountains, part of the larger Carpathian mountain range, and holds the Guiness world record for the tallest summit cross. This photo is an acknowledgment to our inaugural Editor, Dr. Vasti Holstun.
